On a more serious note, Claire and Gary run a small greyhound rescue that means they save the lives of dozens of unwanted ex-racing greyhounds each year. They have the maximum number of rescue dogs they can cope with at the moment so, if this girl's little sad face peering through the bars appeals to you then GIVE A DOG A HOME! She's waiting for a loving owner.

These dogs go through some dreadful times - they are often neglected and sometimes even the victims of out and out cruelty yet are dignified, gentle creatures that make great family pets.

Although I'm a Border Collie girl myself, both of our dogs came from Battersea Dogs Home and they have given me so much joy I find it hard to describe without gushing. Rescue dogs really rock.
