I lived in Bermuda as a small boy, 1939 -- 1943. We lived in one of two a flats above shops in Somerset Bay I believe. I went to Bermuda by cruise ship in 2002 and went looking for our flat. I found the place you call the Perch and wrongly assumed it was where we lived in 1940's and it had been painted over the original white. I took a photo of the Perch and found my mistake when we returned home and compared it with a very poor image of our place that I had left at home in error. It is a surprise to see it on your web page. Is it possible to send you the photo I have and for you to check out if the building still stands please ?
