Jodhpur India

dressing up

One of those pictures that holds meaning to me. She's the youngest daugher of our tour guide who
kindly invited us to his humble house. She asked her grandma to help her to put a dress so that she
could welcome us. It's a pleasant and heartwarming surprise when I caught her making the effort.
Thanks my dear, you looked very pretty! XXX

She looks so fragile. Such gorgeous dark brown eyes... no doubt that's why her parents bought her that dress.

I like the capture of the hands, but my eyes always go back to the eyes of the girl, so big, so dark, and her hidden smile. Your tight composition is really excellent.

love the hands of the grandmother. There is so much love here and the girls look is magical. Her pride is obvious. Mv

There's so much character in this shot; the older, weatherbeaten hands and the rough concrete background just emphasise how sweet the girl seems.
