The concept is incongruous, but the image has not been organized to stress the two different worlds that exist in this picture. The cow at left has been chopped off at the nose, the cars merge into the cattle, and the cattle merge into each other. To make such an image function as expression, you must find a vantage point and a moment in time that makes it work. Check out my similar subject of bison crossing the road in Yellowstone athttp://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/69231897 I waited until the bison were squeezed between cars both in front and behind them, and I shot it by consciously using the road itself as a force to draw the eye into and through the image. My vantage point was critical in that shot. This is a descriptive snapshot. In my photo, I tried to organize both subject and context to express an idea and drawn the eye into and through the frame.
