All photos taken in Ogemaw Co. Michigan unless otherwise noted. All species are live and unposed. Many species are represented more than once, showing that moths vary in appearance at different stages of their life cycle. Lighting can also affect appearance, making identifications even more challenging. The photographs in these galleries are for documentation purposes only.
The photos are also divided into family albums and in some cases subfamilies- clicking on the individual photos will take you to separate albums of moth species within that classification.
