Tornados are fairly infrequent on the East Coast of Canada, and usually much less powerful than the monsters of the far eastern and central regions of North America.
Most of those that do occur here are in sparsely populated, forested areas and largely obscured by the heavy rainfall. Those were the circumstances with this event.
Shown here at it's start, the complete duration is unknown, nor the maximum size attained. It was witnessed at a distance of some 30 miles and the view was obscured by heavy rainfall just a few seconds after the last exposure.
