Abbe is a typical Ghana coastal village of about 1,000 inhabitants situated a few miles inland from Cape-Coast in the Central Region.
We lived there for three weeks in late December 2009. It was an amazing experience.
Through these photos I've tried to give an impression of what the village was like.
However, to fully appreciate the village, you need to be there and experience it with all your senses, especially the sounds and the smells.
