Mahebubi Shaikh is married when she was 12 years old. Now she is a widow and lives with 3 of her daughters in this one room house. She and her youngest daughter Zainab got infected.
Only Farzana (20 years old) has a job. She gets 700 roupies a month, 500 roepies go to the rent of the house, 40 roepies for the school of Zainab. This means they have 160 roepies to live with 4 people. To get something more they go begging at the mosk on Friday and on Sunday at the church.

Some days before they just had decided that Farzana will be married soon. Rizwana (the second eldest daughter) than has to take the job from Farzana and work for the income of the family.

When I ask Mahebubi what she would like to tell the world about herself, she replies "I am a mother of these children, of my daughters. It is my duty to take care of them, that is what gives me strenght to go on. I need to live to give care of my daughters. With harship and all that comes on my road, I am readdy to struggle with life! But sometimes I fight with God. Then I say: I got infected, but why did you allow my child, the youngest daughter Zainab, why must she has it too...?"
