The annual Licking County Arts-Dawes Arboretum Art Exhibit was held the last 2 weeks in August, 2009. Around 90 pieces of art were exhibited by 35 artists. The award for the "Best Interpretation of the Theme", Secret Garden, went to Chris Lang for her felted "Mother Nature's Chair".
