Lunch/Brunch – John Korenak’s fabulous chicken and dumplings with salad and cornbread.

It was a cool 30 deg. F when we started, and the wind had picked up. Barometric pressure was rising and the wind was from the Northeast.

From Irish Fox we headed straight out the back and then South toward highway D. We then turned east and made a big loop in the Wildlife area. There was still quite a bit of snow on the ground but the footing wasn’t too bad. The day was blank however. We had a nice ride and headed back in.

We retired to the viewing lounge of Irish Fox stables and had a great feast that Beth and John had prepared. Jill Wagenknecht made her first big appearance since her hip surgery. It was good to see her and she was doing really well.
