We had a nice cool crisp morning. Coldest morning so far this fall. It was beautiful and sunny. We had a big turnout for a weekday. Twenty people altogether. Temperature ranged from 53 to 63 deg. F. Wind was from the North at 2-4 mph. The Barometric pressure was steady.

We parked at the meeting place by the utility buildings. We came onto the paved road and headed North. After we crossed the dam she headed west into the tall grass fields. The grass was really tall and you couldn’t see much. We continued west for a while and then headed north. We heard hounds speaking occasionally but and had a few short runs. At one point the hounds put something to ground in a culvert below the road. Eleanor dismounted from her horse and looked in but couldn’t see anything. Only one hound could fit at a time and they were certainly bellowing inside the culvert.

We gathered hounds and headed back to the trailers hunting as we went but nothing more was found.
