Yes it is dark but it's not a problem. There is plenty of detail and it has the mood of an old library. well done.

Leslie, you found very stylish 'intelligent' "B". Old books are a great source of inspiration. Toning is moody, composition with tilt line is creative. I think it is a great idea to include "Don Quixote” title in, even it do not consist any "B", it really benefits the composition. Great details and it is not dark on my screen, just perfect.
My compliments to photographer, very successful "B"!

Very well seen B. The tones in this image are great.

"In some village in La Mancha, whose name I do not care to recall, there dwelt not so long ago a gentleman of the type wont to keep an unused lance, an old shield, a greyhound for racing, and a skinny old horse."

Great book, and clever B. You've added another place for the eye to wander with that book leaning on top of the pile. It creates some tonal balance. I didn't think this was going to B so hard. I almost got rear-ended this morning going to work because I kept looking around for a B instead of paying attention to my driving.
