General images for people to link. Okay after having used the Sigma lens for about a year, I still believe its worth is better than its cost. Soft at the long end but pretty darn good at the 24 end. Has a bit of CA esp against a blue sky. It is not as fast as you would like. Its light, small, and you can have a lens that you can take in less than optimal conditions that has a bit more breadth than the Canon 50 mm. I will try to get some new images up. Yes I still need a better lens in that focal range that is sharper and has IS.
UPDATE: I still like this lens...but; it started have com problems with my 1D mkIII and 7D. Still works great with the 10D. I now have a 24-105 Canon. I am hard on equipment so the Sigma my have gotten banged around or the mount may be wearing. Not sure.
