Like all the other entries I've sent, they were made with my 8 year old KM Maxxum 7d.

The Wellington panorama was made from the Town Belt park, which rises sharply right next to the center of the city. As with the Auckland panorama, I used the Samyang 85mm lens, stopped down to the neighborhood of f/11. The image is composed of two rows, and a total of 58 images, shot in portrait orientation. It's rather amazing how much stuff there is to see. Going from left, there's the railway building (the red brick building with columns); right next to it is the Beehive, the round building that houses the parliament. Out in the bay, there's an InterIslander ferry coming in from Picton. Further up the waterfront you can see the Te Papa national museum, and further still the cathedral on the hill. Further right on the image and closer to the point of view is the observatory and botanic gardens. A bit of the airport is visible further back, along with the waters of Cook Strait. Finally, in the hills on the right, you can see the Brooklyn wind turbine and the weather radar dome.
