My favourite outdoor lens, the Canon 100-400L. It isn't known for its water resistance and after some time using it unprotected in the rain, condensation forms on the elements inside the lens. Here we can see it coating two internal surfaces. I found it isn't a big deal. You just gradually lose contrast until I switch to my backup lens. Once back at base, just leave the lens alone with caps off and the water will find its own way out.
