Entitled: 2D Rendering of the Rendering of the 3D Rendering of a 2D Test Chart.
A Photo of the Melting of a 3D printing of a 2D Test Chart
As you can see, the resolution of the lens is still GOOD - you can just barely see light between the lines in the middle even after test chart rendering shrinkage.
Cleanup of this toaster oven will be fun when it all cools down.

Additional nerd facts: this is a $15 toaster oven I got at Target to learn prepreg carbon fiber techniques as a precursor to designing a human powered helicopter (and an 8' oven in my backyard) a little while back, but someone already beat me to it and won the $250k Sikorsky prize. At least I have some baked carbon fiber pretzels.
The printer is a FDM (fused deposition modeling) printer I have access to which doesn't have the best resolution for a close-up chart like the 6"x9" one I made. I have access to .0005" resolution printing machines, but those machines are in higher demand and the printed parts cost a bit more.
