They don't make good pets.

Entitled: Infestation.

I happened to take my lens filter off with the lens on the ground in order to clean the filter. When I finished cleaning the filter, I picked up the lens at put the filter back on, only to then notice that five of the local indigenous species of cockroach from my backyard had snuck in.
This is a picture of the bokeh of bugs in a bucket lens, aka, the 50 f/1.8 using the bathroom mirror and medicine cabinet mirror bent inward with the tripod awkwardly straddling the sink and the toilet.

Don't worry, no bugs were harmed in the taking of this picture - I think they actually fell asleep during the photo session, and then scampered off when I set them free.
I did not have a mirror for the floor or ceiling, but when I took a picture with the camera aimed straight up with all five bugs on the glass, I wouldn't have known they were there.

Bonus points for bad bokeh of a bucket (lens) of bugs from the double reflection of the mirror being on the back surface of the glass.
