For this shot, I used a Sigma 18-55 f/2.8-4.5, at 18mm; this means a heavy dose of barrel distortion and vignetting. To get rid of that, I used the lens profile in Lightroom which corrects the distortion, vignetting, and aberrations. On top of that, I went ahead and did some manual keystone adjustments to make those verticals actually vertical. Finally, I noticed that the demosaicing algorithm had some trouble with the fireworks, creating a lot of jaggy lines. I toned that down a bit with a blurring brush, making the lines a bit smoother.

Other information about the shot: it was taken last year in Wellington, New Zealand during the Diwali festival of lights. Shot at ISO-200 (the base ISO for the Maxxum 7d; don't want to lose any of that dynamic range shooting at 100!), f/11, 25 seconds exposure.
