The Siq, the main road that leads to the city, starts from the Dam and ends at the Treasury. It is a rock canal that measures 160 meters in length, 3 to 12 meters in width and reaches up to 80 meters in height. The main part of the Siq is created by natural rock formation and the rest is carved by the Nabataeans.

Love the contrast between the sun-lit (gold) portions and the basic rose-like coloring of
those buildings. The camels and rider definitely highlight the size of it all.

Amazing shot with gorgeous light. The camels provide scale to this interesting scene.

Indeed an unique place! Worth going back again, and again and again... Photographed it with Leica, Hasselblad, Nikon (Velvia) and last Fuji Digital... This is a great photo, with superb light! I can see you did like me, and got there at 5AM! LOL, V
