Unlike the previous image, where I used the "custom" white balance setting on the S410, this image was shot using the "auto" white balance setting.
The auto setting on the S410 produces a slightly warm color cast under direct daylight. But in lighting such as this, where the sun was low and producing truly vibrant colors, the auto white balance setting adds probably too much "punch" to go along with the warm color cast.
If you can believe it, this image has actually been desaturated mildly. However, the colors were indeed vibrant this day and the colors you see here are not far off.
