After many years, Kay and I finally made the trip to Paris. We stayed 8 nights at the Hotel Monge located on Rue Monge in the Latin Quarter. This is more of a residental area with an abundance of stores, shops and eateries. There were bakeries, cafes, bistros, brasseries, and restaurants throughout the neighborhood making it a pleasant area to troll along with the many locals and visitors. We went non-stop the entire time trying to soak in all of Paris in one short trip. We travelled about the city by subway (Metro) and by foot. The Metro system is convenient, efficient, and easy to use. Paris is truly a city of stone and lights.
