Harkness Mountain Hike

We started at Juniper Lake and looped the reservoir counter clockwise as part of our hike to the top of Mount Harkness at 8,045 feet. It was an enjoyable 8-mile round trip with 1,300 feet of climbing. The hike offers great vistas and a chance to visit with Rob Horn in the historic lookout tower built in 1930.
