Brown Booby at Cape Cod

A Brown Booby, a rare visitor to Cape Cod, has been seen at Corporation Beach in Dennis, Ma this week. These photos are from early Sunday morning, August 21. The Booby roosted on an offshore rock overnight, then after jousting with local Double-crested Cormorants for a while the bird finally flew off towards the west at a little after 7 A.M.
