There were so many other random sights to see in the city, but many of them you won't find on any map. Our first day there, we walked clear across the city and back. In the process, we stumbled on many things we didn't even know were there. Other things we discovered walking from one location to the next. The metro is a very convenient way to get around Paris, but if you limit yourself to just the metro you'll miss a lot.
