Musée d'Orsay

Despite the deceptive appearance, this place is a museum, not a train station (though it used to be one in the early 1900's). Unlike the Louvre, which seems to know no limits in terms of artistic and architectural styles, the Musée d'Orsay is a bit more focused on modern art and sculptures. Among the many painting and sculptures, there is also a collection of photography (this was one of the first museums to welcome photographic collections) as well as scale models of the city and various buildings (including a cross-sectional model of the Opera house).
