Travels in Vietnam from October 30 - November 18, 2001

This is one of my favourite countries in which to have travelled. The people are extremely friendly and open, travel between cities is easy and, a bonus, it's also cheap. One can only admire these people, given their history of colonialism and warfare. And yet, as far as I could tell, they hold no animosity towards those who oppressed them for so long.
They're concerned with the future, not the past.
