This would have been a 4-mile round-trip hike, 2 miles at a steady upgrade to the falls, then 2 miles going back on the declining trail. However, I started not feel well plus Dave had some urgent real estate business to attend to and his phone kept dropping his seller's call(s) so we decided to turn around at the .75-mile mark. However, the part we did see was very pretty!
