This gallery contains pictures from our drive as we got closer to this area. Juney Whank Falls are within a .8-mile from 2 other water falls; Tom Branch Falls and Indian Creek Falls, all just a few miles from Bryce City, NC but the falls are technically inside the GSMNP. Our original plan was to hike to all three (MapQuest said it should take 18 mins to hike between the three). Well, by the time we got to the parking lot by the first one it was already sunset and we didn't want to hike in the dark so we only went to the first and closest one; Juney Whank Falls, which was only .4-mile in each direction. Got to it and was very disappointed in how skimpy it was...again, it must have been affected by the drought this year.
