Picture_0067.JPGHunter's been hanging around Iris too long - he, too is starting to close his eyes just when the camera goes "click". |
Picture_0013.JPGPhotos another day. It's hard to take a photo with 2 dogs who constantly try and out-manuever the other as to who can get closest to the human in their backyard. I'd tell them to "SIT!", then I'd take a step backwards, then they'd take a step forward and re-sit. They're just TOO happy! |
Picture_0953.JPGI was in the backyard (alone except for the dogs) and decided to jump on the trampoline (my first time on it after having it 16 months). Buddy immediately followed me up on it, and after a lot of coaxing, Hunter finally got up there too (I had to help him though - he NEVER gets on it!). Soon after Alex looked out the window and was shocked to see Hunter on it and then MOM!!! He was out there with us in a flash. It was a beautiful day so I made him go grab my camera so I could capture it. |
Picture_0955.JPGSince Hunter was nervous on the trampoline a lot of pictures of him show how much he was comfortable just to lay around a lot. |
Picture_0958.JPG(The blue vertical line in the background is a blue dog leash hanging from a horizontal gye-wire we use whenever the dog(s) need to be chained - just thought I'd take the mystery out of your mind.) |

100_4913.JPGMost current photo(s) of both dogs. Their teeth are starting to show their age, as the whiteness getting more predominate on their faces. They're still great dogs, though! |

Picture_0082.JPGBuddy on the trampoline. He LOVES to jump up on it whenever the boys are on it (and times like this when no one was on it). |

100_0117.jpgNow start photos of just Hunter. |
Picture_0148.JPGHunter's back hindquarter was muddy wet because he'd just come from laying in the cooling mud in one small part of the yard. He had just let the ball roll out of his mouth and watched it as though it would move by itself. |
Picture_0144.JPGHunter wanting me to play with him with the ball. He LOVES keeping a toy of some kind in his mouth, whether there are humans in the back yard available to play with him or not. |
Picture_0070.JPGDuring this shooting time I took and deleted several photos because Hunter kept blinking at the wrong times. This one I kept cuz he looked so cute and adorable. |

Picture_0185.JPGBuddy, hoping I'll walk over and pick up his chew toy that's at his front paws. |
Picture_0141.JPGA nice shot of Buddy taking a break on a warm summer's day. |
Picture_0143.JPGBuddy destroying one of the boys' baseballs. He laid there and completely chewed it up. |
Picture_0131.JPGBuddy and Jerry. Although Jerry hisses at the dogs, he willingly comes into the backyard and walks all around near the dogs in order to be near me. He acts like the dogs are about to pounce on him and goes on the defense. Buddy absolutely LOVES to try and "act" as though he's going to go after the cat, just to see if he can make the cat hiss, yet he only toys with the cats, never actually touching them with his mouth. I'd brought a book out and was swinging in the backyard swing while Dave was cutting the backyard on the riding lawn mower, and then decided to take a photo shoot. |

IM000012.jpgYou can't tell but when we take them for a ride, they have a leash that's connected to the inside of the truck bed. |
