It was a brisk day for a 50k with temps at the start of 24 degrees, reaching up to mid 30's. We had snow, clouds, and sun throughout the day. If you were dressed right, it was actually very good running weather. This was my "recovery" run two weeks after the Umstead 100-Miler. I took the first 25k loop slowly and then picked up the pace a bit for the second loop, finishing in 6:09.
