I went into this race with the goal of beating my finish time from 2004, which was 37:41. Actually, I hoped to beat 36 hours and had a fantasy goal of beating 35, which I kept to myself. I didn't plan on winning the race, only on giving the race everything I had. Well, with my fantastic crew consisting of Dave Bursler, Dave Heckman, Larry Ham, Dori Robertson, and Glenn Tachiyama, I finished in 34:33:30 for a 1st place women's win. I can't thank my support crew enough for all their tireless energy, motivation, and focus. They were key to my success.
