Across the Years 48-hour Race - 12.30.08 - 1.01.09

This was my second 48-hour race. I did this race last year too and had so much fun, just had to do it again. It was such a wonderful few days spent with friends who feel like family. My goal was 160 miles, but I made it only to 150. I had a list of excuses, but really, I am quite satisfied with my run. Tim was also entered to run but unfortunately couldn't because of a femoral neck stress fracture. He still came to the race and helped me out, which certainly played a big part in my fun during the race. A huge congrats to all 24, 48, and 72 hour runners! A huge thank you to the race staff and supporters. This is a top-notch race!
