Heurtoirs de portes d'ici et d'ailleurs !
Au gré de mes pérégrinations diverses ici et là , en France et à l'étranger, je suis toujours à la recherche des heurtoirs de portes!
Une marotte commencée par hasard mais qui permet de découvrir bien plus les villes que je visite.

Pour l'histoire, un petit rappel de ce qu'était au moyen âge un heurtoir de porte .

Le heurtoir ou marteau de porte est l'ancêtre de la sonnette de porte. Celui ci était fixé sur la face extérieure d'une porte d'entrée.
A hauteur d'homme,la partie articulée pouvait être frappée sur le reste de la pièce souvent en métal ou sur la porte afin de permettre aux visiteurs de signaler leur présence aux occupants par un bruit fort.

According to my diverse wanderings here and there, I am always in search of the knockers of doors!
A hobby begun accidentally(by chance) but which allows to discover much more the cities which I visit.

For the history(story), a small reminder(abseiling) of the fact that was for the Middle Ages a knocker of door.

The knocker or the hammer of door is the ancestor of the doorbell. That this was fixed to the outside face of a front door.
At the level of man, the articulated part(party) could be struck on the rest of the room(part,play) often in metal or on the door to allow the visitors to indicate their presence to the occupants by a strong noise.
