I am shocked and sadden of Laura's passing. I went to Buchholz with Laura and was looking up old friends and classmates. Though it has been a while but her memories and smile last forever. My prayers are with her family.

To my Elementary 3rd Grade Mentor, gosh I miss you more than words could express. No one could even know! I pray at night, that you are doing well up there. And just wait a little while longer and I will be up there with ya. No one could take your place as being such a great teacher. Gosh I miss you and all the kids from OCS. Well Cody Pope, Stacie Hawk and me are all attending River Mill Academy in Graham. We miss all of yall! I still remember all the songs we would sing in your class while you played your beautiful guitar with strings of brass! Ohhhh and guess what, I have gotten very involved with music. I am starting to get "noticed", and I really want to get a CD out. I am starting to get out of the stage fright of singing, I have been playing the piano for several years now and trying to learn the guitar. Gosh Ms Walker, you would be so proud of me. I still have your CD too! I listen to it all the time, for it to remind me of your beautiful voice. I even take it to school with me to let people hear how talented you were. I am even making a blog for you on my myspace page in honor of you! You were such a great teacher and I miss you sooooooooo much. I am so glad I got the opportunity to meet a wonderful person.

You were the best teacher I have ever had. I touched me in so many ways, its kinda hard to explain. I know your in a better place but, its been more than 2 years now and I dont think that anyone is completely over it and I think that anyone will get over it totally.

Well...this sucks. I'm working on a song for ya though. Hmmm, I wonder instrument fits? Okay, so I only know 3 chords, but it's still on guitar. And it's good, so there.
Nothing really does the trick though, whether it's a song or an article or making a video or whatever. Even if I worked and worked and somehow got freakin Alltel stadium named after you, it doesn't do it for me.
But...that's okay. It's okay. You touched so many people, geez. Your neighbors and friends and students and family...you rock. And I bet you had a beautiful ride. It's okay.
