patience is tiring 1

Yuma, AZ

This is the sharp-shinned hawk that I photographed in my yard a week ago.
He/she? came back this morning for breakfast and missed, bumped into my screen door.
Still hungry, he flew to the planter, right under the bird feeders and has been
sitting here for right at 2 hours now. He is yawning here.. and so am I!

I'm having to shoot through very dirty glass, so the photo isn't as good as I wish.

What a wonderful photo op and photos Laryl ... excellent catches that enable one to study the raptor in detail ... and you have mastered the secret of having 'them come to you' ... : ) ... great job ...

Cheers!
