I'm going to end June with 'wishes' for a wonderful July for you all. I took out the garbage and spotted this very small dandelion seed pod sprouting up from a succulent at my carport. I got out the ruler and it's only barely more than 3/4 of an inch from side to side of the whole puff ball. I stacked the closeup lens (set of 3) on the 105 and ended up cropping in to get this. It was late in the day so the dark behind it is just the shadow on the ground from my carport roof. It's a sign of good things to come, even though I had to fight the breeze and shoot between movement.
