The wild burros are always wondering if you have food for them.. yes, they are wild
but they are always looking for the handouts they are used to getting (especially in
the winter when so many visitors do feed them)

I decided to take an early morning drive out to the river. Along the way I stopped
when I spotted a family of burros on the ridge. I was sorry to say I didn't have
anything for them and they left quickly.
