One mid-day my crew and I were called for job 102 which head from Jamestown to Danville. I climbed up into the yard tower and was talking to Jim while I snapped the first shot of my day.

I climbed back down and snapped this shot. The SP (Southern Pacific) unit is a Black Widow unit which we often see at our yard here. We interchange with them. We proceed to get our train together and then call up the dispatcher.

I jumped onto the head end and proceeded to contact the dispatcher. He gave us a track warrent and were allowed to proceed to middleton after the HOT Reffer train #10 passed. We waited 30 mins and it finally zoomed pass.

We stopped for a quick sec so I could give ourselves a roll by.

Everything looked good. So I jumped back onto the caboose.

We ran around our train for the shove down into the lumber mill. We had to do some other switching but I didnt want to bring my camera along for that. So I left it on the Caboose. We stopped for lunch here.

While we ate lunch I climbed onto a local stores roof and got a good angle from there.

I walked down to the switch for the coal mine and lined it to drop off the cars there. I quickly took this photo as I told the engineer to "bring it back"

We finished switching at the lumber mill and headed back to the mainline. I climbed to the top of the hill before we headed out.
