HOOD MOCKINGBIRD (Nesomimus macdonaldi) 832

Galapagos Islands - Ecuador

This species is endemic to the Galapagos Islands. It is a common resident on Espanola Island. The hood mockingbird is the largest of the mockingbirds in the Galapagos with the longest and heaviest bill and the longest legs. It travels on foot and rarely flies.
