FORK-TAILED FLYCATCHER (Tyrannus savana) IMG_3656

Belize - Central America

This species is primarily an insectivore, but will switch to berries and small fruits diring winter if insects become scarce. Males (above) have an extremely long forked tail, even longer than their cousins, the scissor-tailed flycatcher.
