Acquired 5-9-2008 for $150, including a 2G MS Pro Duo memory card. 12x zoom with good movie-mode, you can even zoom-in during movies, and the MPEG1 format is widely supported and easily DVD'd. This was thus a model I had considered off & on for sometime.
A purchase largely motivated by the impending 1st birthday of our daughter and the desire for an "everyday" camera for such things and especially a movie mode. I was looking at other models initially as I had a boatload of SD memory and wanted a model that utilized that format, figuring that would help the cost. However, none met my criteria (typically they didn't zoom-in during movie mode) or they cost more than enough to offset the "memory advantage."
A week before getting this, I saw someone selling a brand-new 4G MS Pro Duo memory card--enough for 45 minutes of video and 1,200 pictures--for only $42, way below its normal cost. So I bought an H2 on eBay for $150, and that model included 2G worth of memory itself--quite a deal. Between the two cards, we're good-to-go for some 2,100 pictures and 75 minutes worth of video--plenty.
