Around May 2005, sold the Canon 75-300 and got this one as I heard such good things about it. (About $100, came with all box contents etc.) Enjoyed it, but something in me wanted the original Canon back--so I sold this, only to find the Canon too high & get the Tamron 75-300 almost identical to it (albeit for only $60) only to then sell all my Canon stuff the next day without ever having taken a single photo using this lens. It is considered a good lens, see it for sell in photography stores very often.
