A black widow is one way to take care of other pests, however they are pests themselves! I definitely wouldn't want to be this wasp caught in this black widow's web. We have a bad roach problem in our house that we're trying to figure out. With this spider's strategy, we could get rid of our roaches. If only we could get some pest control, or Spiderman over here, we could take care of this problem once and for all! http://www.wallabypestcontrol.com.au

...and this is why we have 'pest control' at our house:) Those dang BW's... The story of Mother Nature can be so 'raw' and you have portrayed it well! V

The unmistakable form of a black widow; the unmistakable ending. Nice image.

You know the females seem to win the fight once you get caught up into their tnagled web

I love this shot, the blur of the spider adds to the drama. Apparently the wasp lost the battle, unless he is trying the rope-a-dope method to wear out the spider.BV
