In August of 2004, on a month-long stay in San Miguel de Allende,Mexico; I used my first digital camera, a newly purchased Nikon Coolpix 4500. One afternoon I took the photo scene above. Later back home in California while viewing photos on my computer, I noticed how that image’s composition was reminiscent of the paintings of the Dutch artist Piet Mondrian (1872-1944). |
