Moth eggs

I found these eggs on a blade of grass. THey were on both sides, and the total egg mass covers a length of about one inch, and a width of about 1/4 inch. There are dozens and dozens of them, each like a tiny opalescent pearl. I had to put a leaf underneath the blade of grass for my camera to focus on the eggs. I don't know which moth species laid the, but I'll try to find out. Meantime, I thought they were so cool, that I decided to post them.

An insect with a symetric feeling. Looks a bit like lace.

outstanding capture...odd how the shape of the egg cluster reminds of a chrysalis...and also of a baguette!..V
