Larose Forest. I have only seen this species (listed as scarce for this region) once before, also in Larose Forest. Thanks to Chris Lewis for confirming ID!

Looks a little bit like our Cordulegaster boltonii but it flies later than May. Great looking dragonfly and a great shot. v
