Tarantula

This large spider was brought to the Larose Forest Day event by The Reptile Rainforest, which aims to educate people about reptiles and some other wildlife as well. They very responsibly kept this spider out for only a minute or two, as the temperature was not that warm. I let her crawl up my hand and arm... very soft.

Wow Great shot Christine, must feel very special as it crawls on your arm, and it's not as dangerous as always claimed, it should be a fun experience. BV

Looks big that tarantula. Guess you are not afraid of spiders at all then :-) It looks so pretty. How did it feel ? You wrote it felt soft. It's good to hear that they were very responsible by taking the tarantula out only for a short time. V

It obviously is able to distinguish between friend or foe.

At first I thought I couldn't do that but with a second to look I just might.
Excellent clarity.
