In late summer there are always loads of medium to large spiders making webs in the bushes around the house and under the house itself. Sometimes, when they make their webs where I must walk I object. This large spider had the foresight to build her web high and out of the way. The yellow and white abdomen was about 3 cm long and front leg to back leg about 9 cm.
