Thanks for taking a moment to look at the shots taken with my infrared night camera of the deer and other asssorted things, mostly in my back yard. My little island has always been full of raccoon but I'd never seen deer tracks until this year. I bought an automated waterproof wide angle camera that hunters use to assess potential hunting spots for game. I mounted it on a post in my back yard which gives out onto a large tract of high marsh that isn't developed and can't be due to its flooding at high tide. Then I put out dry corn to attract the deer. The shot of the two deer, according to my hunting savvy friends, shows a pregnant doe on the left and a very immature buck (her offspring) on the right. They have mud on their legs from crossing the small creeks on Folly that night.

The little brown box-like camera is fun to use because you never quite know what pictures you'll find in it. Not great art, but the world of photography has a place for these shots too. A kind of hunter's Holga, if you will. (No, I don't shoot the deer, except photos...) Daylight shots are visible light and in color, night are illuminated by infrared flash.
