These photos were taken in the Bryant Stove Museum, Thorndike, Maine. The pictures are very static but the room wasn't, with dolls of all sorts on airplanes, trains, carousels or simply dancing around. Joe Bryant was kind enough to show me around and make everything move and even explain how he'd built a number of the mobile displays out of bicycle parts, small electric motors, pullies and chains (but mostly love).
